Texas firm takes top spot on LSU 100 rankings

Katy, Texas-based Recruiting Source International has been named the fastest growing company owned or led by an LSU alumni.

LSU released its annual LSU 100 rankings at an awards ceremony held Thursday evening at L’Auberge Casino & Hotel. Hosted by the LSU Executive Education, LSU 100 is a competitive program that recognizes and celebrates the 100 fastest growing Tiger-owned or Tiger-led businesses in the world, determined by compound annual growth over a three-year period.

MasteryPrep, a Baton Rouge-based education tech company that prepares students for the ACT college readiness test, is ranked No. 2 on the LSU 100 rankings, followed by Skyhawk, Safe Chain Solutions and Hatchit. Nine companies have been on the list each year since the inception of the LSU 100 in 2011: Gladden Sales, Global Data Vault, Horizon Wealth Management, Immense Networks, J.P. Oil Company, Lipsey’s, SGS Petroleum Service Corporation, Sparkhound and USA Technologies Inc.

Recruiting Source International is a full-service staffing firm that provides services to the IT, oil and gas, manufacturing, chemicals and medical industries. LSU College of Engineering graduate Bianca McWilliams Jackson serves as its chief operating officer.

The LSU 100 Summit Award was awarded to the honoree company that generated the highest revenue amount for the award period. The 2016 recipient is Bridger Logistics.
